GNOME is such a bad joke. Remember when they started a "campaign" against theme makers? All in an ill attempt to claim GTK for themselves... Glad I went back to GTK2 (only stuff like LibreWolf are GTK3, which I unfortunately need to supplement Pale Moon's inability to load a lot of modern Web sites that are bloated).

Also, I highly recommend reading through the original SpaceFM maintainer IgnorantGuru's blog post about GNOME here. It was published way back on November 5, 2012, yet so much of what's written still rings true to this day -- in fact, they've only gotten much worse. A great read, still. The guy mentioning he "doesn't know what Xfce is or does" is the cherry on top.

I saw that steamroller coming the week they rolled out gnome 3 and somebody rolled up a test iso, I tried it being excited because I really enjoyed gnome 2, my gawd it was awful. And it's even worse now years later...

I don't like corporate nonsense or fascist nonsense. GNOME devs are very low on the integrity bar for sure. Although... so are people who use woke as a negative.

Woke means awake and nothing else. It doesn't mean the opposite of based unless people have brain damage.

There is so much stupid dogmatic internet slang for fascism that needs to disappear. Woke, Based consoomer and other stupid stuff like that just gives me a headache.

people like Luke Smith encourage this dumb slang and I detest it. Not to mention their artwork of old people and green fbi agents, frog animations, etc...

Just a very annoying list of crap. The internet has enough bad slang without all of that being added.

This is one of the reasons I cannot stand people like Luke Smith and Bryan Lunduke and other similar parasitic people.

Its also ironic that right wingers now claim to be for linux, when they are the ones who tried to crush the movement of linux in the first place!
