Presentation of LinuC

Since June 1st, 2021 I've been working on LinuC, a website that gives inexperienced users good instructions on how to install a small Linux on their old computer.

LinuC is now at version 0.5 and it is time to introduce it, especially in the forums of the distributions that are available in LinuC.

You can find Devuan among Further!

Please take a look at the description and check out the rest of the page if you have the time and let me know if you are happy with it. Either by email, or in the LinuC forum, or here. I will stop by every now and then :-)

When one of the first things I see on a website is "Praised be Jesus Christ", I immediately reach for the back button. Do you actually care about Linux, or are you just trying to use Linux to push Christianity?

@starbreaker . . . This forum is familiar with LinuC (aka JSM) and his agenda.  Please, let's not go there again.

On your website, you describe people that don't want to have anything to do with systemd as paranoid and mentally ill. This is incredibly insulting, not to mention idiotic. Why are you here? Why don't you go away?

LOL, sure it is...

This site requires Javascript to work, please enable Javascript in your browser or use a browser with Javascript support

It also takes an age to load, even with javascript. I recommend you learn how to write HTML, you'll get better results.

In other news, please go away, and please desist from spamming this board with things nobody here is remotely interested in.

If at some point you decide to put some useful content on that website vapid blog, as opposed to the current religious claptrap, baseless accusations ("the LinuC website was attacked by Devuan hackers!", ROFL), and general paranoid rambling, I might have a look... But at this point it appears to contain nothing but drivel, vaporware, and a few links to distrowatch.

The door is just over there, and if this is all you have to share I suggest you use it post-haste.

Not paranoid just security conscious. Usually if a webpage has some html and css it will show even with noscript enabled, not sure why it doesnt for your website?

Because it's lazy-ass wordpress garbage, that's why. roll
It's also running a google-translate JS wrapper and doing a bunch of canvass fingerprinting (which my browser blocks), that's likely why it's so unbelievably slow.

@LinuxC, whoever wrote your website needs to be taken out behind the bikeshed and quietly shot. It's horrid.

You are only giving the chap nut-job air time and Dev1's forum resources.
No need for that.
Is there?

Because ...

Re: Presentation of LinuC

This site will always attract nutters - that's just inevitable.

July 7, 2021
On July 7th, 2021 the LinuC website was attacked by Devuan hackers! The attackers announced it in their forum, with a matching time stamp of the attack! You can see the hate speech in the following link, people are very busy with themselves:

@LinuC:

If this is your usual response to criticism, you may have accumulated a number of enemies over time. Please stop the baseless accusations against devuan.
