AMD Radeon driver

I have a Radeon 6670 GPU.  I want to install the AM catalyst drivers.  The online how-tos are for Debian.  What changes in that should i make if needed to accommodate Devuan in this regard?  The reason I want to do this is because I had a lot of trouble with the open source version under Mageia 5.0 and all that went away when I installed the proprietary drivers.

Re: AMD Radeon driver

Installing AMD proprietary drivers on devuan should be the same as on debian. I know it is the same for nvidia drivers, but I have no experience with the amd. Please report back whether it works or not. I'm sure you're not the only one with this question.

Re: AMD Radeon driver

You could also give sgfxi a try.  It worked well for my Nvidia driver a few years back using the default settings.  Don't know whether it would find those specific drivers though . . .

Re: AMD Radeon driver

Older post so OP may not see my reply, but FYI for others this guide works perfectly in Devuan for installing the fglrx drivers :
