I know Red Hat well. When RH was in its infancy (just after Y2K), it was the first Linux system I ever installed.  That was at an "Install Fest" at the local LUG. One of the members of that LUG ended up working for RH (and I think still does) and sadly was responsible for promoting all the RH BS globally. I don't think we will even communicate again after a conversation I had with him last year. I really tarred and feathered him. Got it all out and it felt good!  big_smile

One blocker towards finishing this transition is that the graphical
Debian Installer still uses gtk2.

Kek, there is anything that we gain to change this to gtk3?

As mentioned in our 2020 MBF [4], besides being unmaintained for years,
GTK 2 does not support either HiDPI or native Wayland.

This excuse is da usual

GTK2 is not dead yet...some smart folks are working on that as we speak. wink
