[Q] Debian Bookworm/(Trixie) -> Daedalus/(Excalibur)

Good day,

I'm doing quite a number of VPS deploys across various providers for anycast type reasons, and... Debian is always there... just me wanting Devuan obviously...

So: Is there some "how-to" to do a Debian-> Devuan conversion?
Typically it'll be Bookworm (Trixie still "new"), but just wondering about any gotchas documented my searchAIfu haven't yet find?

If you're going from bookworm to excalibur, you're doing an upgrade at the same time as the migration, so it's probably a good idea to look over the upgrade instructions. One gotcha on upgrade is that you must install the usrmerge package before you upgrade.  I don't think it matters if your sources are pointed to bookworm or excalibur for that package. (I've done it both ways.)

Upgrade to Excalibur
