So Microsoft has ruined GitHub by pushing AI sloppy nonsense features

GitHub even added nonsense AI feature called "Issue creating with Copilot", It's an public preview since 19 May
What's worse that it cannot be opt out and disabled, possibly leaving GitHub issues with nonsense unhelpful useless issues flooded in it.

What about Microsoft pushing even far more AI sloppy features into GitHub.

maybe its just me, but i like that microsoft ruins github / windows / minecraft / office / internet explorer / etc
there are better options anyways...
i think the real problem are the foolish people who think they need to use that trash

I wanted to ask whether GitLab would be a feasible alternative/option to GitHub?

What are your suggestions?

Early on, Devuan was on gitlab . . . then moved to gitea. There have been changes in gitea too but no serious talk about another move.

That seems to be one of the best refuges available but since I am not an active git user these days, I have no personal experience. As to moving off our current git . . . low priority because it still works . . .

notabug.org is a good git host, no AI slop etc.

Did you expect anything different? If microsoft didn't ruin most of what they touched, they wouldn't be microsoft.
