Palemoon a browser that doesn't convince!

Hello community!

In the small experimental tests between firefox quantum, palemoon and midori, for me the midori browser is lighter and faster, a pity that midori does not support heavy loads. Does anyone know which plugins or software for multimedia signal in Palemoon?

I can't get Midori to play any web video either, it's supposed to be capable but hasn't worked for me yet, other than that it's pretty nice.

Palemoon is still the best all-around browser in all the testing i've done.

Do you know any website that helps you test video and audio formats?
I would say once you have the resource web address you could tell the difference between 'no support', 'no config' or 'no idea'.
I tried so many times make Flash work on different browsers that by now I know that browsers work - Flash does not.

What do you mean by "multimedia signal?"  Also, palemoon works fine on my system.  I do not, however, use flash, due to its history as exploitable and oftentimes very buggy.

Have you checked out the surf browser?  Also built on webkit, like midori, and way quick if you're doing any non-multimedia browsing.

HTML5 video support should be available with gstreamer. Try with gstreamer1.0-libav and gstreamer1.0-plugins-good installed.

That did it for Midori, thanks! I'm using all gstreamer 0.10 in Vuu-do, didn't think about it needing something from the newer 1.0 gstreamer stuff, you rock Chillfan.

Seriously considering Midori for next version of Vuu-do...maybe I will run a new 32 bit iso and use it there, it's half the size of Palemoon and a third the size of Chromium or FF. Seems to run pretty good.

I have been using Mageia 5.0 up to date.  I installed Pepper Flash and it has worked well using older versions of Opera and Firefox. Pepper Flash is a Google product and is non-free.

...so sadly we must consider other browsers instead of PaleMoon for things like watching NetFlix.
