Is the Devuan servers down for maintenance as I cannot update just a bunch of
Could not connect to debian.map.fastlydns.net:80 (146.75.106.132). - connect (111: Connection refused) Cannot initiate the connection to debian.map.fastlydns.net:80 (2a04:4e42:8a::644). - connect (101: Network is unreachable

May I ask...why do you have a "Debian" repo in your sources on Devuan???
A quick search of debian.map.fastlydns was unable to connect to anything.
A quick search of debian.map.fastlydns.net returned a fatal error!

Might want to check out this page???
I stopped after that. IMHO, this is a Debian/fastly issue...not Devuan...but who am I to say...I'm just some guy...

I don't know why this intrigues me ...might try cleaning your cache...
sudo apt clean
...then try running an update again...
sudo apt update
...but it's recommended that you don't mix devuan repos with others.

Thank you all and will try and fix.

https://imgur.com/a/9oecFhJ is the link to show virgin repositories

Ahhhh...your sources are peppermint and debian. Have you asked on either of their forums?
Offline
No I haven't but remember this is a VIRGIN install. Those repositories were added by the install process so i assumed they were good to go and I thought Devuan was based on Debian but with Systemd removed. AMIRITE lol

herbie,
If what I'm seeing is correct, there are no Devuan mirrors included in your sources.list...only Peppermint and Debian.
I'm not sure what happened...
Were you wanting to install the Devuan version of Peppermint? If that's the case, it appears that you actually installed the Debian version of Peppermint?
EDIT: I'm unfamiliar with what the Peppermint sources.list looks like, so I'm only going by the picture that you shared.

Well then I guess I installed Peppermint. I am befuddled myself.

Anyone have an idea of how I can change to Devuan repositories or is that not possible.
Offline
No, install a genuine Devuan.
Conversion is possible from Debian, see here: https://www.devuan.org/os/documentation … o-daedalus

@herbie . . . Are you aware that there is an official Peppermint Devuan Edition?

I'll be back sometime later with the correct install for now I'll just try some other os.
Thanks for all your help that this forum is noted for.
