Hi all!

My name is Anton, I like the GNU/Linux Devuan distribution and I decided to make my modest contribution to the development of this community.

At the moment, the domain https://devuan.ru/ is registered and the phpbb forum is deployed on it

A channel and a chat were created in telegram, and a message was written to yandex with a request to raise a devuan mirror at mirror.yandex.ru

Glad to be part of a big project!

Unfortunately, due to events instigated in Moscow, Russia isn't very popular right now. Nothing personal, but it seems you've chosen the wrong time for this adventure. Consider putting it on hold while the situation improves. That might be a while though.

Read more and follow western propaganda less. Most of the Russian people support the President of Russia and the fight against fascism. I just want to remind you that in the so-called state of Ukraine, fascism is openly promoted.

@Ogis1975:  100% agreed.  It's a pity politics can't be left out of this, but it seems we're too far down that rabbit hole now...

The western media has completely glossed over and hidden the fact that Neo Nazi militias actually rule Ukraine, through a puppet.  And when I say "Neo Nazi militias", that's precisely what I mean - i.e. fanatics who style themselves on the SS, worship Adolph Hitler and would ethnically cleanse most of Europe in a heartbeat if they had the chance.

The "west" are arming these militias, just as they armed Islamist death squads in Syria in order to force out Assad.  That was a proxy war against Russia, this is no different.

Some of you need need to turn off the fucking TV news / put down the biased tabloids, which only ever repeat the state sponsored narrative and start thinking for yourselves.

And this garbage is exactly why i don't post here very often. Too many nutters with political and/or ideological axes to grind, and too may conspiracy wackos.

Anton started a Devuan discussion board for Russian speakers, that is all. More power to him for doing something far more constructive than you squabbling children are right now.

It's a personal matter, of course.
Just keep in mind that the Internet in Russia is completely under the control of the state and special services. In particular, Yandex.
Everything is tied to the phone, and it is tied to the passport, otherwise the SIM card will not be sold.
Even more "democratic", probably, only in North Korea.

Well, okay.
Let's leave politics and "isms" aside.
There are two points here.
1. The rating of the site is determined by the number of clicks, and using the promoted site to advertise your newly created one is a well-known trick.
2. Devuan is missing out on opportunities. I can give an example of another distribution, on the forum of which there are separate sections for foreign-speaking users.
What is good, I think it is clear to everyone.

You are just being used.

A month ago, a Russian missile hit a house a kilometer away from me, where a family of 4 lived. The body of a girl, about the same age, was found on the roof of a neighboring house.
Your  Konashenkov reported that some headquarters had been hit.
