Responsible behaviour based on a foundation of mutual respect is expected from visitors to this forum.

Yes, I think we have a winner that fits in well with the character of this forum!
Thanks to everyone who participated in the discussion that helped to get us there!!

1. The dev1galaxy.org forum welcomes all those who come in peace to support the Devuan project!
2. Responsible behavior based on a foundation of mutual respect is expected from visitors to this forum.
3. If chaos erupts from forgetting the above, we will lock/ban our way to a more harmonious and productive environment.
4. We accept everyone's contributions, we don't care if you're liberal or conservative, black or white, straight or gay, or anything in between! In fact, we won't bring it up or ask (nor should you).
5. Remember, this is a meeting place for professional admins as well as a rainbow of users who all share a love of Linux. So please play nice. smile

Re-written to remove indistinct or left leaning language. Also, citing the nocodeofconduct.com site is goofy especially since what occurred was the addition of a longer than necessary "code of conduct". That said the phrase "code of conduct" should NOT be used, it is a trojan horse in and of itself: Forum Expectations is much more appropriate.
1. The dev1galaxy.org forum welcomes everyone that contributes to or uses the Devuan project!
2. Responsible behavior and mutual respect is expected from everyone on this forum.
3. If chaos erupts from forgetting the above we will enforce our way to a more harmonious and productive environment.
4. We do not care about your skin color, politics, sexuality, or anything else. We won't bring up your personal life choices and nor should you.
5. Remember, this is a meeting place every that shares a love of Devuan, and Linux (without systemd). So please play nice.

Hi to all the guys and gals here, I love that here there's No, or almost No CoC, I hope to have a good time here on these forums, I say let's leave politics to the politicians, me and my brother came here and are refugees, fleeing from other linux distros whose forums and linux OS are already infected with politics and negativity to or towards anyone who thinks different than them, thanks to all the people involved in creating both, these forums and Devuan linux, cheers!

@ golinux, thank you very much, it's vey sad whats being happening in other linux forums bro, my brother got a lot of negative comments and hate there, almost got the boot (almost banned) on one of those forums because he posted a B. Lunduke video about the first release of XLibre, one of the developers was so extreme that he got very angry and told my brother that anyone there didn't cared about Xlibre or his wack creator, that was a very, very crazy situation! Anyways we feel a lot better being here, thanks again!

I have noticed this too in Linux fourms lately the total buy in to the coporate parasite control agenda that they are foisting onto linux with the systemd and wayland garbage. With the Gnome trolls leading the charge for it for well over a decade now.
