A.k.a.: You have been weechatting far too long!
Shot with F(ranken)Cam on N900 and "long" exposure while moving the cam. I like how it is unfocused and that the text seems to float out of the screen in waves.

Edit 20230307: Strange! I had to recapture 2 of the 3 images again into archive.org and have no idea why they worked when posting them 1st. Archive.org has alzheimers? Until today I thought using archive.org would give nice permanent URLs to stuff... *sigh!*
...but not a spider.
I may have had an overdose of maths and probably therefor like geometric structures.
(Shot with BlessN900 soft cam on a Nokia N900.)
I'm just able to press on a button, but sometimes that yields nice things too:
'By making it appear as if the user is interested in everything, AdNauseam makes it hard for observers to construct a profile of that person.'
...while making your CPU glow bright white and increasing local and global warming?
I dare to applaud.
So, MS wants to go Linux, quite a good move on their part, (they've been there before), but why on earth put it on top of their 'Windows' system!
Maybe someday they'll flip it upside down.
Windows to become emulation layer atop Linux kernel, predicts Eric Raymond
Next such day is the [Chinese Day Of The Programmer] on Oct-24.
It is read as 1024.
Get it?
But I prefer the 256th DOY and have a reminder in my crontab:

The only surprise is that this did not happen much earlier!
I tested tmux and screen on the DUT console.
They do not bring this functionality with them.
Try harder.
Screen gives me a scrollback in "real texmode" and GUIy terminals. Just not with PgUP. Use doping: Read a bit more about it. Look for ^A ESC or ^A [.
Tmux probably does it in a very similar way.
A thread to justify/question Devuan's existence and what it stands for?
Absurd.
You could have chosen not to add to this, or do you have no free will?
Absurd!

Then synaptic should be considered broken or at least incomplete.
Get used to running apt, apt-get or aptitude in a terminal instead and you are on the bright/safe side again.
I suspect in most cases the fangirls and -boys of distributions are visiting Distrowatch and that's why I completely ignore it.
And who cares?
What would I gain from knowing the ranking of the distribution(s) I'm using?
Nothing!
Absolutely nothing!
Is there already a 'Troll Appreciation Day'?
Like System Administrator Appreciation Day?
If not, I suggest Feb-29.
Because the rules when this day exists already is like trolling a calendar and its users! :-Þ

No RTC?
No (easy) kernel updates?
No go!
From there one on it all went smooth.
Keyboard and display worked as expected?
Or did you need to attach a LVTTL-USB-UART?
Why not run the system on UTC and set the user TZ in the user's dotfiles?
PLEAAAAAAASEEEEEE ... not another single protocol browser ...

Elpher gets a competitor now: https://github.com/rkd77/elinks/tree/gemini
Now crossing fingers for spartan support.
Who will have it first?
Emacs (via Elpher or other add-on) or Elinks?
And they have removed most comments in the code, so it will be a big challenge for somebody to maintain a fork of the new code because of that. In a way I feel they are "stealing" the program from the current users.
Life can be such a kindergarten sometimes... :-/

Often (including on this forum), a different backgorund color is used for inline code on top of displaying it in a monospaced type, which makes it nicely easy to tell references to the find command from regular usage of the word “find”, for example.
And such a boxed inline code would still be recognisable in a pure B/W printout...
