Might not be a terrible idea to implement something similar for the Devuan bugtracker.
No . . . bad idea. The Devuan bug tracker is for bugs in packages that Devuan provides. I know you know this so why muddy the waters . . . ;D
Now just ignore me, because I will ignore you, as you need to get treatment.
Nah - nah - nanah - nah . . . Good grief . . . Maybe it's time to grow up?
steve_v gave an excellent and correct assessment. Anything else is flapping gums . , .
FYI . . . I rarely mess with anyone's posts because it is my hope that by leaving useless nonsense visible, the perpetrator(s) will eventually be so mortified that they will change their behavior. However . . . as this thread proves, it doesn't seem to work . . .
Delighted that you solved your font issue! Apologies if I seemed a little grumpy earlier. ![]()
That is pretty unreadable without block or inline code tags . . .
FYI . . . Google will start deleting accounts that have been inactive for at least two years as part of a new security plan, the company announced Tuesday . . .
I have a few of those because who wants google much in their life. It seemed like a good idea at the time . . .
Probably better to have an online get together, more people could afford to attend such a meeting - Zoom is a popular program for doing that.
The last conference was live streamed and there was a chat associated with it . . . but those folks missed the human experience of camaraderie which is what made the experience so special. ![]()
That being said . . . you can't step into the same stream twice . . .
I wonder how many attendees would incur travel/accommodation costs for a one day event . . .
So the first questions might be "Who is our target audience?" and "What do we want to accomplish?" besides kumbaya. Would it be a "speaker/audience" or "hands on to learn how to do this for Devuan" focus or a bit of both.
There are many ways it could be structured depending on what users prefer so please let us know what would entice YOU to come to a Devuan Conference.
I guarantee you AI will learn how to lie because it imitates its creators . . .
@chris2be8 . . . How about a link?
No. I'm saying that the vapid posts of some forum members might be so egregious that other forum members might avoid going down a similar path. ![]()
Why should it be? Showcasing stupidity might be a positive and informative experience for some. IOW . . . don't post detritus that deserves to be taken down in the first place . . .
Another Hinton interview from Amanpour & Company
Can't think of a valid reason to change it.
Then you haven't been paying attention.
All I know is that the torch has been passed and time will tell . . .
The current color scheme is perfect. And as the saying goes, If it is not broken, don't change it.
Thanks! I hope you will feel the same about Daedalus Sapphire if/when it happens . . . ![]()
Everything is back up and running. It took a while due to tz and sleep schedules.
@jgmbenoit . . . thanks for the report and welcome to Devuan!
It's dead, Jim. Not working here either. Neither is git. This is a first iirc.
I am convinced that the only way to win is not to play. Thankfully I am old so that may be possible but at some point, being part of the hive will be mandatory. Horrifying!
There will be no Daedalus security repository until it is officially released.
In Devuan, non-free firmware has always been installed by default. This from https://www.devuan.org/os/install:
Non-free firmware
Non-free firmware packages are available on all install media. These packages will only be installed if required by your wifi adapter. To avoid the automatic installation and loading of needed non-free firmware, choose the Expert install option during the installation process.
The desktop-live and minimal-live images have non-free firmware packages pre-installed. These packages may be removed after boot using the remove_firmware.sh script available under /root.
Greetings fellow travelers!
The next Devuan stable release, Daedalus, is on the horizon and it is time to recolor the Devuan websites to mirror the signature Sapphire theme color palette. It has been a great ride for me through 5 Devuan releases but it is time to pass the torch.
The Devuan websites have always reflected the signature colors of the current Devuan stable release default desktop. It requires changing the hexes in the CSS for all 4 of them as well as recoloring a few icons. Here is the list of websites needing attention:
https://www.devuan.org/
https://pkginfo.devuan.org/cgi-bin/policy-query.html
https://bugs.devuan.org/
https://popcon.devuan.org/
The color palette of the Daedalus Sapphire desktop theme is here:

If you are interested in taking on this task, I will be available to walk you through the process.
If no one steps up, the website(s) colors will remain on the Chimaera Deep Sea theme for the duration.
Finally a shout-out to all of you for so kindly supporting my colorful efforts as I have muddled my way though the theming process over the years.

Not by me. The OP probably figured out he could do that himself, at least for a certain time window unknown to me. That doesn't apply to admins though . . . ![]()
@rzmv . . . You should be able to edit your original post to remove the image and replace it with text.
