try adding
ipv6.disable=1to the commandline bootcode.
also i seem to recall needing to comment out all the ipv6 stuff in the /etc/hosts file

this webpage(note, debian sid amd64) has an advisement regarding the preference of using a package manager:

If you are running Debian, it is strongly suggested to use a package manager like aptitude or synaptic to download and install packages, instead of doing so manually via this website.
You should be able to use any of the listed mirrors by adding a line to your /etc/apt/sources.list like this:

Replacing ftp.de.debian.org/debian with the mirror in question.
to proceed manually just copy the appropriate facility/mirror link and then shorten it by removing the filename itself(something like these):

currently using Daedalus. when i search synaptic using just the "name" matching i get about a dozen search results. one of them is "lazarus-ide-gtk2-2.2 IDE for Free Pascal - GTK+ version" and as you described, it says "latest available version is 2.2.6+dfsg2-2"
there is also a Qt5 version which may explain why your "apt-get install lazarus-ide-3.6" didn't quite get the job done.

i used DDG to search the terms "force pihole usage"(quotation marks only for forum post clarity, didn't use them for the search)
there were multiple pages of results given the popularity of raspberry pi units these days(not to mention trying to stop all the ads/beacons/click-bait/cookies/iframes/javascript/pop-ups/redirects/super-cookies/third-party-cookies/trackers/zomg-and now all the AI generated garbage as well)

yes, OP reported having firefox set to remove history when closed/shutdown/terminated and then had an occurrence where when starting firefox they were returned to the webpage they were at when firefox was previously closed/shutdown/terminated.
and further reported that it only happened once and/or infrequently.
a guess would be that firefox somehow failed to shutdown completely/gracefully/etc or that it somehow was still _running_in_the_background_ unknown to the OP.
and since we are now at firefox 128.4.0esr, hopefully it won't happen again.
