Remmina runs great from Windows 10/11 using Microsoft's WSL.
Then can connect to Linux with SPICE, NX, XDMCP as well as VNC and RDP.
So many connectivity options available.

Remmina is another option and also works great with XFCE for RDP connectivity.
Give it a try, It's packaged with Excalibur and you might be surprised : )

for AMD graphics and miniPCs, try passing amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x10 to the kernel boot options.
(assuming the related firmware-amd-graphics is also installed)
below is the Xlibre AMD .conf I've been using in combination with above kernel option.

the URL noted above was the post-fork for debian/devuan by apebl
(no longer maintained since Sept 2025)
Debian / Devuan / Ubuntu APTs are now maintained by NexusSfan.
FYA, LeePen's seatd patches were also merged upstream for the solstice release.
@callmetango provided status of the project as stable release (25.1.3) approaches.

Adopted excalibur as my daily driver while it was in testing [aug 2024]
Have never experienced major issues.. some tweaks here/there; no show stoppers.
Since GA, deployed several installations on EFI hardware without issues.
[ netboot.iso - GPT mdraid-1.0 hosted lvm OS volume, containing /boot /home and / ]
Boots successfully from the primary EFI partition.
WIth the base layout for my use case, Excalibur knocks it out of the ballpark!

Performed fresh excalibur KVM installation this morning. (base no-gui)
Added xlibre repo as noted.
Manually installed: alsa pipewire slim spice-vdagent xfce4 & xlibre
Everything be weking well - No issues observed !
Much appreciate the choice of libre xserver for Devuan !!
