Can't tape my login/password

After upgrading from "devuan_daedalus_5.0.preview-20230425" to "ceres" (cinnamon), i no longer be able to enter my login/password because my mouse & keyboard freeze apart the "Power Down" key. Is there any way to overcome this situation ?

Why on earth would you "upgrade" from daedalus (currently in testing) to "ceres" aka "sid" (unstable)?

Please have a look at https://www.devuan.org/os/releases to familiarize yourself with Devuan releases.

I had same problem, but not changing releases, only updating. I found a solution: you must install xserver-xorg-input-evdev to have mouse and keyboard again. if is a laptop, also install xserver-xorg-input-multitouch
