Hello all,
I'm a bit confused by the release's maintenance period/security update period. Is there occasionally a release that is an LTS of sorts that will get greater than five years of security updates, or are all releases the same for about five years?
Thanks for helping me to understand the release cycles!

Take a look here https://www.devuan.org/os/releases
Being a fork of Debian, Devuan would follow as best it can the Debian Release cycle.

Thanks, Evenson,
I've looked at that page and the Debian page https://wiki.debian.org/DebianReleases, and as I type this, I realize this is probably a question for the Debian community, but I'll clarify my question here regardless.
I don't see any newer releases getting an LTS flag. Is it going to be the current alpha Daedalus that will get the extended maintenance treatment, is it equal to Debian's Stretch?
Thanks again,
Mike

No crystal balls here. That decision will come from Debian and Devuan will follow.
