Re: Devuan GNU+Linux Beta2 release

That is good news indeed! I quickly checked distrowatch.com list for the last 7 days, to see if this news had some impact. Devuan jumped to place 19! Seems like a lot of people are interested in the project!!

A bit about my situation for who likes this kind of information:
Currently I'm running Mint KDE 17.3 and Byond Linux From Scratch 7.9 on my workstation at home. I've been following the Devuan project and hope to be able to try beta2 soon, when I' back at my pc.

When Devuan Jessie is released I hope to use it as my main OS, next to Linux from Scratch. I'll use it for Blender, Gimp, Inkscape next to the regular office and webbrowsing. Next to that, together with LFS, I'll use it for increasing my programming skills and learning the fibres that make a Linux Distributions work.

Re: Devuan GNU+Linux Beta2 release

I wandered in here hoping someone had left changelog type docs or discussion and noticed it still smells like wet paint. I like what yous have done with the place.

Best of luck! Is this exciting stuff or what?!

Re: Devuan GNU+Linux Beta2 release

Did I miss something? 4.3Gb iso... when I created a bootable pendrive, I discovered only intall-related boot menu options. No liveboot? Persistence?

Okay, I will try this Refracta fUnOfficial iso:
