Hello,
I wanted to switch my daily driver from a minipc (Lenovo) to a standard desktop with these specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8400F 6-Core Processor
GPU: Sapphire Lexa PRO [Radeon RX 550]
MB: Gigabyte B650 EAGLE
I created the USB stick with Balena Etcher and booted. I selected Devuan stick boot from the boot menu and then the PC froze having the Gigabyte logo screen.
I tried then to create the USB stick with the dd tool, same thing.
I tested Freia and it booted, the installer started, all fine. I know that I tested the Excalibur installation on the same PC a month or so, ago. It was a different iso back then. And it worked.
I tested the Excalibur boot on the Lenovo minipc and it worked, but on my Gigabyte desktop it just doesn't boot.
I have installed Debian 13 Trixie, for the moment, dual booting with Windows 11 LTSC. I hope to have a solution to get back to Devuan
.

Try the netinstall from https://files.devuan.org/user/tempforever/ - It uses the grub bootloader for efi instead of syslinux, which sometimes has problems. (Grub sometimes has its own problems too)

The iso provided works. Back on Devuan
.
Thank you !
