Plasma login manager all white

I've done a base system install, followed by a base plasma desktop install, then the kde-standard meta-package, and finally LibreOffice. After this, I must be missing something because the login screen is all white with white letters. What am I missing?

This happens on several distros because no theme has been assigned to the login screen in the KDE control panel. I really wish that would het addressed. Anyway just pick a login screen theme and it should be good.
