Thank you very much merom!
Glad to hear that it helped.
I belive this is normal behavior now and it explains all the prior issues - we may want to check with the tow-boot people.
If you would like to describe your experience with this issue, please open an incident for this release in gitlab, otherwise I will open it in a couple of days, for reference.

- We have now been listed under https://pine64.org/documentation/PinePh … re/#movuan.
The main wiki page https://wiki.pine64.org/index.php?title … e_Releases is currently read-only and can't be edited anymore (did not get it for sure if this is permanent or temporary but would assume presence on one will trickle back to the other).
- Movuan 0.0.0.2 https://gitlab.com/l2385/movuan/movuan- … s/v0.0.0.2 has been released resolving issue reported by merom https://gitlab.com/l2385/movuan/movuan- … incident/2

I have a spare Sony XA2 lying around.
Any chance to get movuan on it?
It currently runs SailfishOS.
The number of running proceses is quite high, including some *name-not-to-mention-here*. And it's rpm-based not deb / apt.

Hi Delgado,
1.- Resource wise is deffinitely powerfull enough.
2.- If you are already running SailfishOS, it means there is already a kernel compiled for it and working fine.
It appears however that SailfishOS is based on Halium/libhybris with an Android kernel rather than mainline Linux, you should look instead at Droidian (https://github.com/droidian-images/droidian/releases). While we may hope to one day include Droidian style functionality, it is not available at this time (and it will take a lot of work/time).

Thank you all for your interest in my project!
I have just discovered it has been covered in a few internet posts, like the foreign language (slovak/czech) linux mint forum as well:
https://www.linux-mint-czech.cz/2025/04/movuan/
(Used google translate to be able to read it)
Also the pine64 post (thanks merom):

To my surprise, WLAN is not working. it seems the hardware is not recognized. Bluetooth works though? any hints!

Thank you for the kind words and for the testing scjorge!
Would you kindly introduce a bug for tracking purposes, in gitlab, please? Assume you were on release 0.0.3. I was able to reproduce (both with kernel 6.1 as well as 6.12-sunxi64), but do not have a fix at this time, yet.
This is related to the lack of firmware for the rtw88_8723cs.
Issuing the following command (connected to the cell network), before a reboot fixed the issue for me:
apt-get install firmware-realtek
Make sure the dip switch is not disabling the wifi and the battery is connected and charged.

There are a couple of issues that I have observed that are not currently addressed properly without systemd user mode services: mmsd-tng and vvmd are not being launched automatically:
- multimedia MMS messages are not being received automatically
- visual voicemail is not connecting
Working on a fix, appreciate your patience or suggestions. If any of you needs a simple workaround, it may be as easy as starting these processes manually.
