Re: Michaels Devuan Edition *Update*

Michael,
This then I'll put on the old Lenovo.
So far so good with learning a bit of .zsh on version "3" which has run great: I can even run Framework III & VII right out of Dosbox with nothing more that assigning their respective directories Dos drive letters "D:" & "F:".
Joplin runs fine BUT with the "no-sandbox" parameter. "fastmail" email provider needs the proxy. imap & stmp addresses to work.
Both proprietary Softmaker Office and UEX Texteditor run fine as well.
I'll report back after I install this "last update" smile iso on the 2008 Lenovo T61.

A friend of mine is replacing his crashed Linux Mint with Michaels Devuan
Thanks again.

Re: Michaels Devuan Edition *Update*

apparently there was a syntax error in .local/Scripts/update_scripts.sh
on line 73 there needs to be a " before the closing paren
here is the fix: update_scripts.sh

this will be the last update until Devuan 4.0 is released

Dang it, it just felt wrong to leave it as it is with that bug and a syntax error in .xinitrc
New ISO is uploaded, nothing groundbraking, just some minor fixes

Re: Michaels Devuan Edition *Update*

Just downloaded _04_B
I finished adding your version 4 jwm changes to my _03 version. I had modified some things (Don't like the roots set to mouse clicks.) and added programs. So I didn't feel like doing it all again. I see you added some yad scripts. I just install to a spare partition and note the differences.

On the "always last update": My motto and sig on emails is:
"While some hold that perfection is the enemy of the good,
I've found that it is only in its pursuit that one avoids the mediocre."

Take care, Larry
