Hi Nili, Thank you! I have been using Ceres since Jessie became stable. Ceres has not even hiccuped on my main machine and daily driver! very stable for an unstable kernel! smile

Nili wrote: DeaDBeeF is really tight audio player.

I started using DeaDBeeF shortly after coming to Linux, with CrunchBang. Very powerful and simply a great audio player. Not all audio players are created equal, have noticed DB and alsa works better than others. Impressed with your DB, very cool! cool

Ditto on the New Years, wish all good fortune and happiness! More peaceful world!

Just uploaded Fluxbox,  It might take a few while the upload is pending with SourceForge.

Thanks again!

Used the latter and #comment out allow-hotplug!

Info: that was with a fresh install CROWZ Ob ASCII to BEOWULF upgrade, going from wired to wifi, ran into that issue!

I started to love Fluxbox with all my modest potential. I've been a while with Openbox that is greatest stack WM, but Fluxbox to me seems a bit more potential, more features, lighter on resources, lighter on actions. So why should i miss this opportunity to use it both in parallel?

Fluxbox and Openbox both came from Blackbox from what I understand, similarities are quite noticeable but distinctively different.    Fluxbox is a bit faster and easier on resources, VSIDO was my first real encounter and really most sophisticated of the lot. CROWZ like Star is very minimalistic and simple, making it so everything just works OOTB without the bloat.

The fluxmenu gui can be a little tricky not to delete entries if trying to correct an entry. Very close gui to the obmenu and a tad different.

The init file can be easily corrupted, careful with modifying it, learned the hard way but good to back it up just in case. CROWZ use tint2 instead of fbpanel, gives it a little different look and behavior. The init file in /home/user/.fluxbox is the heart of the Fluxbox wm and much tweaking can be done there.

Cheers and thanks so much for the kind compliments! smile
