Within the last week, when I update/upgrade my Ceres system, it has started a long delay as apt-listbugs searches for bug reports. It will hang on...
Retrieving bug reports 0%...for several minutes before finally proceeding.
I've searched online, but I haven't found an answer for the issue.
It's not a big deal to me, but I was just wondering if any other Ceres users are experiencing this, and if so, did you find a way to fix it?

Why not use x-terminal-emulator instead?
Well, because there are a few people who like MiyoLinux (and the crappy stuff I offer), but they don't use Devuan/Debian. Plus, xterm can be made quite beautiful with a little bit'a .Xresources.
Thanks for doing what you did HoaS...I've never tried building a terminal-based app. You made it easy.

I've already made some changes to the code to suit my personal taste; such as, changing it from whiptail to dialog, changing the terminal to xterm and having xterm automatically iconified when it opens to play a radio station.
However, I'm caught betwixt a crux of decisions since you went all GPL 3.0-only on me after I made it Public Domain...

The Refracta Installer is by far my favorite installer...whether using the GUI or terminal versions.
While I will agree that "getting used to it" may be a hindrance to some people, once you get used to it, it's stinkin' spectacular!!!
It may not offer all of the bells and whistles that other installers do, but what it does offer, it offers it well.
I'll take the Refracta Installer over the buggy Calamares installer any day.
...but that's just me. Many thanks to the developer of the Refracta Installer! Just know that your work is appreciated!!!

I plan to add a "fake" package (made with equivs) for polkitd so I can use sway without having that shit running just in case the bug report isn't actioned before the bookworm release. Leaving this post here as a reminder.
Does anybody want any other fake packages while I'm at it? It'll be just like running Slackware but without the ridiculous disk usage

I know this is currently just in discussion, but if this comes to fruition can I suggest it be called "The Devuan Community's Crapton Repository" or the DCCR for short. Of course in the Devuan community It will simple be known as Crapton.

Neither Debian or Devuan offer a rolling release. Testing/unstable are development branches, which is not the same thing at all. A rolling release distribution should always have all of the packages upgraded in sync and so should always be usable, at least theoretically. De{bi,vu}an's development branches are not expected to be usable at any given time.

Well...I did say that I did that back around 2015 or 2016.
Over the last couple of years, I've noticed that building a Devuan/Debian system installs a crapton of packages now...even with using --no-install-recommends (thanks to Zapper for my new favorite word! )
EDIT: Removed the extra-hanging-dangling H from the end of the above HAHAHAHA! so that the Language-Police won't write me up again...
