Aw crap, sorry about that. I forgot SoundCloud required login. The music is probably not your cup of tea anyway. Lol
Here's the same track on YouTube: https://youtu.be/E0W9kcAwWpA
You know me, I'm a lurker.
I've been getting into a new genre of electronic music called "Wave" lately. Here's a good example:

Depending on my my mood, I enjoy listening to some of Miroist's instrumental progressive metal / djent work. Great atmosphere in this track:

A little bit further down the spectrum and a bit harder, you get Anup Sastry. His drumming is insane...
I think that's simply due to the delay between running neofetch and taking the screenshot.
Ha! You're probably right - Occam's razor right there. I always think too much into it.
@msi: nice and simple. It's interesting that your top bar and neofetch calculated slightly different uptime. Must be a rounding thing.
Hang around here long enough and you'll get your LOLOLs going . . .
I guess you could say I'm more of a lurker. ;-)
Sometimes when you post, it reads like you're on crack, and I love it
He's high on life, man. lol
Honestly, I wish I had all the positive energy that Miyo has.
Tor - Blue Book (2016)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvQI49DMKuk"Two Suns" is a personal fave.
We apparently have very similar taste in music because I really like these trip hop sounding beats that you shared as well! I hadn't heard of Tor before so thank you for sharing. Tor's sounds kind of remind me of Amon Tobin but less glitchy and sporadic.
This is magnificent, thanks for sharing.
Glad you like it! I recommend digging a bit more into Black Hill's other music and aliases if you get a chance. His other project named "musicformessier" is also great: https://musicformessier.bandcamp.com/.
A beautiful album by two collaborating artists. They each take turns playing the same song but Black Hill does his magic on guitars while HeklAa plays piano.
I'm digging the simple dwm setup, siva!
@catprints, you can have it too! Just post a screenshot. ;-)
@catprints, I don't think Zuckerberg is stylish enough! Me on the other hand...
Thanks for testing that Geoff! I'm interested in using OpenRC and runit as well.
Looks like systemd is a dependency of mate-power-manager. Perhaps that's the issue?
I'm using the RC on a VPS and desktop right now and it's working wonderfully. Many thanks to everyone who works on this project!
@sgage We're pretty close - I'm in Maine.
something wrong with the touchpad control i`v swiched ON then OFF then ON again and everything frozed , i could not figure why the command on the on off seemed good but maybe you know better if is something there that i did not see.
Sorry you're running into that issue. Are you simply trying to turn the touchpad off? Trying running a command manually in a terminal to see if you get any error messages:
Turn off touchpad
synclient TouchpadOff=1
Turn on touchpad
synclient TouchpadOff=0
Aw, shucks - thanks golinux! I think I'll stick around much longer this time. Things are slowing down a bit in my personal life so I can spend more quality time with you fine people.
I hope you figure it out! Please be sure to follow up with the solution once you find it as it might help others.
Just a shot in the dark here but what happens if you run
echo " LID" > /proc/acpi/wakeup
as root to disable LID? Note that there is a space before the L in LID since the device must be 4 characters. As I understand it, this doesn't persist between boots so you have to disable the lid in /etc/rc.local.
I can only speak for my laptop, but do you see LID or LID0 in /proc/acpi/wakeup? Perhaps that is what it triggering the lid.
Oh stop, lol - I'm happy to help. I must say, this will be an excellent release!
Welcome aboard, FOSSuser! Thank you for the introduction - you're among like-minded people here.
I much prefer a forum than the Devuan Discourse.
You're not alone.
