....or you could just use tar.
The Aliens are coming........The truth is out there.......
Wonder if we'll ever actually see anything in our lifetimes though.
If I'm remembering right, you need to install the firmware, which I think should be in your /home directory.
(I'm using Vuu-Do now for my Devuan system.)
See if this helps.

Check that you don't have an old image iso (in the /home directory, I think), I have forgotten to delete the previous iso before now, when remastering.
Exactly, & long live Vuu-Do.
Be aware, the first post has the quote taken out of context, here is the actual post.
My machines are about half & half.
AntiX, (Debian based, systemd free), been using it several years now, since the demise of #! (Crunchbang), & Vuu-Do.
(Though I still have one running straight Devuan, but it will likely go over to Vuu-Do as that seems to suit me best. smile )
...Not impressed. I had this knowledge deeply embedded in my brain by the time I was 10.
Then, I suggest, you use it!
Hmm, I don't think mis reading something makes it ambiguous.
(It is pretty obvious how it is meant to be read.)

In case it went over some peoples heads - I was just having a joke with MiyoLinux.

How can you go over to Vuu-do if it's 'demised'? Of course it isn't and we all know that but that phrase doesn't.
(I'm ever the editor)
Depends how you read it, there's a comma in there that separates the '& Vuu-Do' from the demised #1, & relates to the original statement about AntiX.
But, I suppose I could have put a semi colon instead.

Going off topic a bit...there are plenty of readily available software packages for OpenBSD, lots of GUI choice too, WM & DE.
It's my 'back up' system, in case Linux gets really messed up with 'commercial interests' altering it, like with systemd.
Welcome aboard.
Which of the dow is the binary? And how to proceed with the configuration?
Either one of these depending on your OS 32bit or 64bit
Dir linux-i686/
Dir linux-x86_64/
Then select your country folder, & you will see,
File firefox-56.0.1.tar.bz2 51M 05-Oct-2017 22:24
Download it, & extract it in whatever directory that you want to run it from, (suggest you make one in your home directory).
I think this may be something to do with Ampola, or some such name, it's a different repository being set up - but I could be wrong.
I tend to just use 'cal' or 'cal -3'.
...a distro which won't be named. big_smile
Must have been Vuu-Do..........or maybe AntiX...........surely not Ub*!!!
Is the system seeing it, can you mount it manually?
I added my take of it too, without the necessary firmware for my wifi, it's a no go for me, but worth a look.
Glad you got things sorted, enjoy your new O/S experience.
I'm not on Devuan just now, but a Debian based system, but should be the same - check /lib/firmware for the brcm folder.
(If it's not there, you will want to install the .deb for it. Probably easiest to do using dpkg -i rather than apt-get install.)
Edit: If you don't have wicd on your system, likely you will have ceni, try opening a terminal, & run 'sudo ceni'.
Likely it is possible to download it from their website, & run it from its own directory, I have done so in the past on other systems.
But if you get any problems, you'll be on your own as it isn't a supported version on Devuan.
Have you done an update & upgrade of firefox-esr?
If you open wicd, top right is a down pointing triangle, click it, them go to preferences - likely you will need to replace 'wlan0' with 'wlan1'.
