[Solved] Quod Libet plays, but no sound.

Hi All,
Laptop install. Any help be appreciated!

VLC sound works, increase/decrease level.
Palemoon plays videos with sound.

Hotkeys for laptop do not work.
Sound Icon on Panel has no effect.
Quod Libet has no sound.

I don't know about sound issues/config's or ?

I installed it, tried an online radio station, and it wouldn't play like you said...well...it was playing, but there was no sound.

You need to install...

gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad

After I installed that, I had sound.

Had a similar situation getting Pragha to play (Pragha isn't in the repositories)...

Can't help with the hotkeys...sorry.

Thx much, for the fix...!

Now back to learning your Devaun with LxQt, I thought to use Slim
instead of Lightdm...arg!

Now back to learning your Devaun with LxQt, I thought to use Slim
instead of Lightdm...arg!

In my investigation of LXDE and LxQT on Ascii

I mean...

ooouhh...&....ahhhh....

typing from xtra-ascii atm...
wow - really forgot about using www browser!! never really did honestly..
palemoon isn't easy to apt-get (wget i guess) - took it off usb to include here.

it's not tooo tuff for a new -point&click- user, that learnt afew terminal commands!
not enough for me tho, but a good learning tool.

never knew or used - openbox, conky, compton, etc.. so i'll probly brake many things
and re-install many times...

your release notes are awesome & thx for taking the time to put em there!
good writers learn others!

i'm gonna grab xchat or the likes, not to hijack posts here...you might have use for
your own forum!

Good deal! Once you get the hang of Openbox, it becomes second nature...but I warn you...you'll hate yourself for not using it sooner! LOLOLOL!

As to having my own forum...to be honest, I don't have the time. I work 6 days a week and work crazy hours at that. Between work and trying to have a family life, there's not much time for much else. That's also why Miyo only includes Devuan repositories...if anything ever happened to me, users wouldn't lose a thing, and they could keep using it. I try to pop in here as I'm able, but sometimes others have had to answer questions about Miyo for me when I haven't checked in...for which I'm extremely grateful.

There is a "Derivatives" section here on the forum that you could use if you have any questions about Miyo or any of the other Devuan derivatives.

Have fun and make it your own!
