Pegasus Mail and WINE question

Hello:

I have searched the forum and it would seem that I am the only member using [Pegasus Mail] under [WINE].
Q1: anyone else?

But I have seen that there are quite a few members using [WINE], mostly for games (?)

Q2: which WINE?
ie: the respective 'repack' from the Devuan repository or some version from WineHQ?

I use standard Wine 10.0 from the repositories (Excalibur / Trixie). If you're on Daedalus, that would be version 8.0. For both of these, I have had great success with mid-2000s game titles, most are working with zero or very small issues. For me, stable Wine from Debain (+ Lutris) is sufficient. The 3D capabilities and general support have greatly improved over the recent years, I imagine.

I only have moderate success with running other Micros~1 applications, however. They seem to run into more issues, and not all of them are fixable. You may want to try the WineHQ packages if you desire a newer version for better compatibility. Although they may introduce regressions.
