@ my PassMark PerfomanceTest (11.0.1004) Results for Excalibur.

So : AMD Ryzen 9 5900X  performance seems close to AMD Ryzen 7 9700X.

Also some hardinfo2 benchmarks:

Running PassMark PerfomanceTest raises the challange of installing a package (libncurses5) not available at my Devuan Release.

finally i added daedalus to my sources . libncurses5 depends on libtinfo5 which depends on multiarch-support

(out of linear thread's timeline addition) :
The kapka's proposed solution is:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libncurses.so.6 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libncurses.so.5

and tried it again in a different Devuan 6 it worked .

But i think that is accidental. Since Passmark's utility asks for libncurse5 it may be they are lazy to recompile and just be a naming issue but could be sth more. On the other hand my proposal to add in my system's apt source an older release could it be to much for a change . But it the depedency was more 'hard' i think it would be better.

Also indeed the command proposed by @kapqa in this thread previously, in order to run the propriatory benchmark utiliy PerforanceTest in Devuan releases without libnurses 5 ,worked for me in Excalibur.

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libncurses.so.6 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libncurses.so.5

Hardinfo2 has a 'Synchronize' command where our computing node and benchmark info are sent to a database.
@Their privacy policy.

When using the Synchronize feature in Hardinfo2, some information may be stored indefinitely in our servers.

I would like a foss to have an downloadable database in a form easily processed by foss .

The site has its gathered info organized nicely. I did a 'Sync' but the program gives no feedback neither about giving me a chance to see what info collected neither a link to the updated database.

So in that regard Passmark is better in giving you asap a link to your published data.

Thinking lately about the proliferation of rampant aggressive webcrawlers that feed their mama's big LLM with training data i think we should exercise extremely caution about our data and surely a foss license is not enough to cover that issues.
