[SOLVED] System doesn't see upgraded package in repo

I am trying to create a new edition of my distribution, F3OS, which is based on Devuan.  I decided to re-color the logout icon in the main icon theme packages (f3os-icons-master and f3os-icons-dark -- these are in the F3OS repos, BTW, hosted through Gemfury), packaged it, and it upgraded in the repos.  Problem is, the system doesn't see that it's been upgraded.  I've tried apt update and apt upgrade apt install -f, and several other things...nothing.  The system STILL doesn't see that it's been upgraded.  What else am I supposed to do?

Re: [SOLVED] System doesn't see upgraded package in repo

OK, the system says it has version 2.013 installed.  Yet, I have 2.04 in the repo.  Whenever I try to run apt update, it completely fails to see that a newer version is in the repo.  Does that help?  I don't know of any other way to express what's going on here. I'm not getting any error messages or anything like that. All I know is I upgraded it to the repo, yet the system still completely fails to see that there's a newer version there.

I'm very tempted to just rename the packages in question and update the dependencies in all the other icon themes with different colored folders that depend upon it to see if that makes a difference.

Well, I would say 013 is more than 04.

What's the output of the following:

apt-cache policy f3os-icons-master f3os-icons-dark

Never mind, y'all.  I tried to do a mass renaming on my main hard drive...and it bit the dust, and I couldn't log in anymore, and I have no idea what happened.  So I reinstalled and added the F3OS repo...and everything is just fine now.  Will get back to the hard drive containing the image I'm working on and just completely redo the installation, which oughta hopefully do the trick.
