I bought an MSI AX1800 (Realtek rtl8852 chipset) to use with an old laptop. I downlloaded the driver from MSI's website, but installation died with an Error 2, whatever that means. So I downloaded the latest firmware-realtek (firmware-realtek_20250410-2_all.deb) and installed it, but the USB adapter is still not recognized. Doing an lsusb returns:

use several USB-C-to-Ethernet Adapters, but those USB-C Adapter are too easy to bend.
Would like to shutout the wiFi from out of muy door, but it keeps coming in.
