What is the devuan opinion about using elogind?

I read a lot of critics against Devuan because uses elogind, while to be a serious systemd-free distro this package should be banned. I don't want to open a debate start any polemic, I am just curious, what is it the stance of Devuan about elogind?

I'm more puzzled by your statement "don't want to open a debate" than anything. But I agree that using elogind or not is not really something worth debating.

did a forum search for the word 'elogind' in the title/topic
(Index    » Search    » Topics with posts containing 'elogind')

and with this thread there are 26 threads with elogind in their title/topic

there are probably quite a few ideas, opinions, and thoughts in there somewhere
