RISC-V in Excalibur

riscv64 architecture is officially supported in Debian "trixie":

This release for the first time officially supports the riscv64 architecture, allowing users to run Debian on 64-bit RISC-V hardware and benefit from all Debian 13 features.

is it going to be supported also in Devuan "Excalibur"? it would be great

I see a mini.iso in the netboot directory here: https://pkgmaster.devuan.org/devuan/dis … nt/images/

And I checked one of our forked packages (util-linux) and there's one for riscv64 that's the same version as excalibur amd64.

So it looks like it's possible. The mini.iso is the same as what debian calls (or called?) business card iso. It's like the netinstall but doesn't have firmware in the iso. If you try it, please report back and let us know if it worked. Thanks.

perfect, the vendor claims it works with Ubuntu 24.04, so I can take the device tree and missing firmware from the ubuntu image. I will let you know if I make it work but it will take some time until I get the hardware, I wanted to know that devuan packages for riscv64 would be available first, thanks a lot
