I searched the forum, but didn't find anything specifically addressing this. If there is already a thread, please point me to it.
I'm just wondering if there is an update manager similar to the one that is in Linux Mint and a few other distros. I can always do updates in Synaptic, but my wife doesn't seem to remember to do updates. Yeah, I can try to remember to update her computer when I do mine. I just thought I'd ask and see if there is an update manager of some kind for Devuan.
Thanks in advance.

The packages you might be looking for are package-update-indicator and gnome-package-updater.
Install those and launch package-update-indicator (should appear on your panel and set to start automatically on your next session). You can choose how often to refresh the updates and the command to run when there is an update. The default command is gpk-update-viewer, but you could still use Synaptic instead with synaptic-pkexec --dist-upgrade-mode.

OK. It appears I have options for an notifier and updater. I'm not on the Devuan laptop right now, so will have to try them later. I'm sure one of those options will suit me just fine. Thanks for responding. I appreciate it.
