Updates and files in /etc
I just wanted to verify something: If I modify a file such as /etc/mysql/debian-start, am I correct that updates will NOT overwrite my change? I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

So in other words by default everything under /etc are considered conffiles and are protected. Thanks!
