Dear list:
First of all, thank you for admitting me. I have moved to Devuan after more than 20 years in Debian due to certain instabilities and various problems with systemd. Everything goes OK but I have problems with wireless. In principle detects the card, but does not connect. I have tried wicd and network-manager. I have compiled the kernel and driver, changed modconf at boot time, use a modern kernel.... Nothing seems to make this card work. The fact is that for a while it was working with Slackware, but I got tired of compiling. I prefer Devuan.
Any idea?
Thank you very much
D

Is firmware-realtek installed? Is the card set as the default wireless interface in wicd?
I've got an 8723AE and it's working as expected.
Post output of ifconfig and iwconfig (or 'ip a' if you don't have ifconfig).

Sorry. Now wireless is working. It was not the card but had bad resolv.conf due to a bad previous uninstallation of connam and wicd...
I really like Devuan's stability and speed.
Thanks
