[SOLVED] Deadbeef music player

How can I install the Deadbeef music player? It's not in the repos and I don't know if I should use the Debian .deb file I've got as I'm new to Devuan Ascii.

Re: [SOLVED] Deadbeef music player

I got it here and put it in the latest Refracta build. I've used past versions in earlier Refracta builds (squeeze and wheezy)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/deadbee … _amd64.deb

dpkg -i deadbeef*.deb

If you get errors about missing dependencies, run apt-get -f install

Re: [SOLVED] Deadbeef music player

That worked, thanks very much! I wasn't sure if I could use Debian .deb files or not. I've now also installed Google Chrome (for Netflix).

Re: [SOLVED] Deadbeef music player

FYI there is chromium in the repository, and that does less spying on you than the official google chrome.

Re: [SOLVED] Deadbeef music player

Thanks, but I need Chrome for Netflix. It's all I use it for. Usually I stick with either Seamonkey or Vivaldi (and very rarely Tor), depending on the hardware.
