I can not install the new Devuan(2)

Hi,
     Installation of Devuan 2 is totally others than Devuan 1. I can not find a installation guide or video or pictures.
Please help me.

How are you installing? The installer on the non-live CDs should be virtually identical for Jessie and Ascii.

As devuser says, should be the same as Jessie unless you are choosing the expert setup which i think has a few differences.

Start the installer and select Help or else read /usr/share/doc/refractainstaller-base/readme.refractainstaller.txt (same thing).

David just follow the instructions given by the installation routine. Its fairly a fairly straight forward process and you should be up and running in 20 minutes or so.

I Tried again. On the 3th step of installation ,appears a terminal ,when I try to type "root" or something else...disappears it.

At the beginning of the install, when the installer asks if you want to use sudo or su, choose sudo, and you won't have to enter the root password to start the installation process. This only gets used to start the installer.

Later in the install, it will ask if you want to use sudo or a root account for the installed system. Choose whichever you want.

An alternate solution would be to use the command-line installer. From a root terminal, run refractainstaller
or from a user's terminal, run sudo refractainstaller

27 time I tried to install new Devuan. Finlay when I restart,it becomes only black on display.

At the boot menu, press 'e' to edit the boot command. Add the word, nomodeset, to the linux line. Then ctrl-x to boot. That usually fixes the black screen.
