Midnight Commander

I hope someone here can help with this one.  I am fairly new to mc.  I can't seem to be able to open files with proper programs.  How do you assign default programs to open files in mc?

i.e. videos, texts, and so on...I have searched the web but nothing.

Look for mc.ext in man 1 mc.
