deb.devuan.org geoloc mirror issue?

These days, depending on the deb.devuan.org automatically selected, I get a range of speed from  24.4 kB/s to 50 MB/s

Just a test earlier today:

Get:4 http://deb.devuan.org/merged unstable/main amd64 libprotobuf22 amd64 3.11.4-4 [899 kB]

CTRL-C + same command :

Get:29 http://deb.devuan.org/merged unstable/main amd64 pluma-common all 1.24.0-1 [1895 kB]
Get:30 http://deb.devuan.org/merged unstable/main amd64 pluma amd64 1.24.0-1 [429 kB]
Fetched 56.1 MB in 5s (11.6 MB/s)

Is there a convenient way to choose among mirrors, to skip the one that seems overloaded?

Good luck avoiding network congestion.

Edit: It's safer to use codenames (ascii instead of stable). Also, mixing stable with unstable generally does not work.

Ok, maybe I was not clear enough: the deb.devuan.org automatical mirror selection is these days broken from my location.

Network congestion is not an issue while some mirrors are providing 11.6 MB/s.

deb.devuan.org automatically picks mirrors that are clearly not relevant from here. Did something change recently in this regard?

there is no 'geoloc' for deb.devuan.org. just use a mirror that suits your location best.
(had the same question couple of months ago, mirrors@d.o kindly replied)
