Installing Devuan in Pendrive 3.x

Hello, i have installed Devuan in a pendrive 3.0 but it works extremely slow. Thereis some way to have it running more fast?.
A have tested it in several machines with identical result. Same installation but with external usb 3.1 case and ssd disk go ok, so its not a problem with the usb port that support 3.0.

Some advice please?

Try to use usb pendrive with usb 3.0

If using ext4 filesystem....

Disabling access time update,

/etc/fstab

/dev/sdb1    /    ext4    defaults,noatime    0    1

Increase commit interval

/etc/fstab

/dev/sdb1   /    ext4    defaults,noatime,commit=60    0    1

Disable journal (not recommended)

# tune2fs -O "^has_journal" /dev/sdb1
