Is it possible to browse files on another box with a file manager using ssh?  If not what are the alternatives.

Thanks

Like someone once said "complaining won't get you too far".  I gave up on Debian after some updates, systemd did not like some of my scripts.  I will reboot my box then I get a strange message about system updating or I will try and update the box but I will get a message that another program is using "su -".  Somethings in those lines.  After some investigation, I realized that I have to kill my scripts.  That was the end for me.

Very nice and minimal setup, Job. I like it! I just want to ask. I see a lot of information being displayed on status bar. Is this conky, or bash scripts?

Thanks for the kind words.  That's conky.

My first shot of Devuan.  Happy to have joined the world of systemd free.

I also like h264enc.  Actually I like h264enc better at least for my personal usage.  Yes, avidemux is one resources eating software.

Thanks Ralph, coming from Debian I was a little unsure about mixing repos.

How do you install avidemux?  well besides the confusing way at avidemux.org.  Same with h264enc.  I already have non-free and contrib in sources.list.

Thank you,

No.  What makes you think that?

Probably the line that says systemd-238 (is that like uranium?) is in ceres and 232 is in testing.

I can assure you it's not in either of those repos. ("No candidate version found for systemd")

Phew!  That's exactly the line that made me grinch a little.

Thanks

I am unable to locate a page to download beowulf from.

I will appreciate a link if there is one.

Thanks
