shwsh, did you do this on jessie, ascii or ceres? 3.24.3-1 is in buster/sid.

As you all gnow, GNOME, the pinnacle of desktop GUI design . . .
All these years, I thought it was the default that was shoved down clueless user's throats. 
But to each his own In any case, this is a useful contribution for those who want to go there so thank you for that.
*edit* Maybe you could copy everything from your personal repo to git.devuan.org. That way things could get packaged for devuan.

Not gonna push the VUA's to do things any faster by making posts demanding they hurry up or by belittling the work they've already done, just gonna piss 'em off . . .
Those who are doing the work (other than the derivatives) rarely frequent this forum so they'll never see the bitching. But yes, it is childish and demonstrating a lack of understanding of all the moving parts that need to be coordinated. That being said . . . it has been more than frustrating that things ground to a halt last month while those in EU were on 'holiday' and disheartening that things haven't started to pick up now that September is here . . .

Why would anyone even want jessie now that debian 9 has been released?
Because it's boringly stable and trouble-free. I will likely run it till 2020 eol.
We need to work on jessie too granted, but ascii is more important in my opinion.
No new work is being done on jessie except for a few lingering pkgs in jessie-proposed. All attention is now focused on ascii. It's just that there hasn't been much focusing lately with August vacations etc. I keep hoping for some action . . .

Did you update from an older version?
I remember at one recent version change Mozilla decided to "require" pulseaudio - and so apulse was born, to fake it, sort of.
IIRC apulse was originally conceived to fix skype audio but now adapted to firefox.

Not sure how your ~ (home) is setup - but I noticed my.xsession-errors was upto 6.8Mb !!

@fungus . . . Even though I said that on the DNG mailing list, I did not have the ability AT THAT TIME to do so. Please stop repeating "alternate facts". You are only a victim of your own behavior. IOW you are doing it to yourself.

I can barely read those colors but i can see that I have more than twice as many options available. First suggestion would be to hit F5 to see all the options, unless of course you've removed all but the ones in the image. (I would have no idea how to do that) Second would be to disable auto-mute.

Also, there was no installer when I launched the live CD in VirtualBox.
Look for refractainstaller in the system menu. Isn't there an icon on the desktop to launch it?

FTR, the wiki is hosted by FlibberTGibbet. msi (with feedback from me) has recently done a major reorganization that is still very much in process. Jaromil is not involved.

So it is! The wiki was recently restructured and obviously the linkage to that page was broken. I'll try to get that fixed. I have also updated the links to the wiki in this thread.

Have you registered yet? Be aware that approval is a manual process because of the volume of spam to the site. Items coming from Dev1Galaxy most likely should go into the Community Documentation area of the wiki but the new landing page is not set up yet.

Very true. And we have envisioned something like that but progress has been at a snail's pace.
looking forward -- Devuan is getting bigger - I noticed more requests for info that isn't Devuan related!!!
Hopefully we will continue to grow both in the number of users as well as packagers and developers. I see you are taking on d1h. Good for you!
