[mini-i2p-mimo] New 'Devuan-based' 3.0 release:

mini-i2p-mimo-3.0 ~ translation: "Minimal + i2p = Made-It-My-Own".
Comments: stanz at mail.i2p -or- miyoisomix at  (or here)

Released: 2020
Build: Base pkgs/system, is "Devuan" Beowulf - Now a Beta release <>.
Arch: "32 and 64bit builds"
sha256sum: With the iso's on pcloud. Contact me if there's problems.

mini-mimo-3.0, comes with it's own bug! A "mini-bug", to say ~ it only happens once, and is painless.
If you Burn the iso to a CD...There is one glitch! USB burns, are not affected.
I burn my iso's to a cd and use a usb mouse with laptop.
After bootscreen, and the cdrom stops loading the Desktop,
your cursor is center-screen & does Not respond to mouse movement.
Fix:: Pull-out 'any', usb plugin... and plug it back in. You will hear
the cdrom doing some action, and when done - the mouse/cursor work!!

“mini-i2p-mimo-3.0”, is live media (created with refractasnapshot), and is easy to boot into, and check out.
Boot from a cd or usb, it will run mini-i2p-mimo, giving you plenty of time, to check out everything installed,
without making 'any' changes to your current Operating System or Hard-drive.
If you do like it - then you can install it, while it's running - with the included “RefractaInstaller”!

mini-i2p-mimo-3.0, is built with your privacy and anonymity considered.
[Quote from the ‘’ website]
“What does I2P do for you?
The I2P network provides strong privacy protections for communication over the Internet.
Many activities that would risk your privacy on the public Internet can be conducted anonymously inside I2P.“

Re: [mini-i2p-mimo] New 'Devuan-based' 3.0 release:

Fantastic system stanz! Just tried it live, and I'm going to install it on one of my computers later today. smile

I absolutely love the minimalism, and having the extra security in place is just stinkin' awesome! big_smile  Thanks so much for sharing your vision with us!

I have been Devuanated, and my practice in the art of Devuanism shall continue until my Devuanization is complete. Until then, I will strive to continue in my understanding of Devuanchology, Devuanprocity, and Devuanivity.

Veni, vidi, vici vdevuaned. I came, I saw, I Devuaned. wink

Re: [mini-i2p-mimo] New 'Devuan-based' 3.0 release:

Pardon my asking. I just started reading up on the distro. Just how different is it from MiyoLinux - also created with refractasnapshot?? OnionShare and Tor can be added to MiyoLinux. Just wanted to know before I start distro-hopping. Is there a YouTube video on it??

Re: [mini-i2p-mimo] New 'Devuan-based' 3.0 release:

Hello James...

Just how different is it from MiyoLinux - also created with refractasnapshot??

You need to run a MiyoLinux release, any one of'll answer your own question! smile
MiyoLinux is full distro ~ Mine is very minimal, not for the regular user.

..also created with refractasnapshot??

refractasnapshot? ~ awesome tool - of an amazing 'set' of tools...huh?!
I suggest you try at least 3 of them!

OnionShare and Tor can be added to MiyoLinux.

Yep, your right on that one!
MIYO - Make It Your Own - !!
And you can even install them on the new Devuan beowulf beta release! yikes
Don't ya jus` dig all the options..!

before I start distro-hopping.

If I remember correctly, most of Devuan's Derivatives are live media (oh, refractasnapshot!),
which gives the user, the opportunity and time, to try out the whole custom build - without making any changes to the present system on the hard-drive - leaving the user, the choice to install (oh, refractainstaller!), or try another.

Is there a YouTube video on it??

Nope -- nadda, won't happen on anything google...
These builds were made for my personal use, until a good friend twisted my arm, really hard,
and made me share them.
While your on youtube, visit MiyoLinux: Videos page - you'll see difference!

Oh, As far as I've seen, there's only 1 other distribution - trying to have the i2p-router included in their
build, by default. Whonix, if I remember proper...but when we last talked - systemd was giving
them loads of trouble. yikes

I'm also a really bad sales man lol
