RTL8188ftv usb wlan stick driver?

I am wondering are third party drivers worth trying or could drivers outside packet manager
brake network structure etc.?

Only drivers I found are some generic drivers or for ubuntu. Driver disk that came with stick
returned some errors from install.sh file.

Any hope on getting the stick to be used as wlan stick on Daedalus or should I buy better(in kernel) supported usb wlan stick?

How dangerous it is to try for example generic or debian driver outside devuan packet manager?

I asume that ubuntu driver will not work?

All are Debian (or Debian based)... so it just may work.

Chase down the name of the module so you can do a more accurate search.

And remember that Devuan repos pull directly from Debian repos even for packages that are not forked . . .
