Linux Mint Devuan Edition?

Recently tried Linux Mint Debian Edition and, while nice, it seemed a little slow.    Also by default, they try to shove a system restore program on you.  Hoping that someone is working on a Linux Mint Devuan Edition.
Thanks

Re: Linux Mint Devuan Edition?

I had some contact with the LMDE dev earlier this year regarding a Devuan version with a promise that he'd get back to me but he never did.

Re: Linux Mint Devuan Edition?

I was under the impression that Mint was pro systemd or at least switched to it because of Debian/Ubuntu.

LMDE is related to Ubuntu but much closer to Debian.

By no means. They dropped their spam on their ISO, so that the devil himself would break through the attempt to pull that manure.

Re: Linux Mint Devuan Edition?

Probably will never happen.

Here's a "fun" read: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic. … 2&t=268273
