The decline and fall of the Linux forum

cynwulf is new to this forum but he is not new to Linux.  This overview of the changing Linux landscape is both cautionary and inspiring.  As I read these essays, I laughed and I was saddened but more importantly,  I was motivated!  I don't want Devuan to fall victim to the mentality that got us into this mess in the first place.  It's up to us individually and collectively to be the best that we can be to save the sinking ship.  Enjoy!

Too funny!

Anyway, I read the whole 4-part series, and in my opinion he is right on. I've been an "IT Professional" for over 35 years now, and I've seen it come down pretty much just as he has described. I still believe that some distros of Linux will remain true to the early ideals and not sell out to systemd/RH/Gnome/you-know-who.

Long Live Devuan!
