I have seen this warning/error message about ATK-bridge not found recently, unfortunately I can't remember the instance and can't reproduce at the moment.
I looked through pkgs and the only thing relevant is this.
libatk-bridge2.0-0/testing,now 2.22.0-2 amd64 [installed,automatic]
AT-SPI 2 toolkit bridge - shared library
What exactly does this thing do and why wouldn't it be found?

I get an error message too. When I run gksu 'rxvt -rv' I get the message :-
Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "atk-bridge"
Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
The command does run and the processes which run are :-

Is it something to do with gksu-run-helper?

I see that libgksu2-0 depends on libatk1.0-0

Maybe missing dbus "plumbing"... probably an error you can safely ignore? (as with most of the crap gtk spits out)
https://packages.debian.org/source/jessie/at-spi2-atk
You could try installing "libatk-adaptor" (the only other relevant binary built from that source package) and see if that "silences" it...

libatk-adaptor had not been installed, so I have now installed it. When I ran gksu there was no error message, although there was not always an error message, so it will take some time to verify that it has really fixed it.
Thank you for the suggestion.
