Hi!!! :-)
I have an older (legacy) Geforce 710 card and the repo installer informed me, that is no longer available.
I tried installing Nvidia's own drivers, but it failed.
After shutting down X Server, disabling Nouveau and installing kernel headers, I ran the installer but it failed with errors like:
error: #error wait_on_bit_lock() conftest failed!What now?
Do I have to rollback to Nouveau?
TIA!!! :-)
The entire log is way too long, for posting it here.
I can always post it elsewhere, if needed.

what is the output of:
lspci|grep VGAwith regards to:

Which drivers did you try to install exactly?
And which version of Devuan are you using?

last time i checked , the driver was active (the card is nviidia 710 passive gpu) , for devuan 6, but it needs manualy patching that was shared on via reddit page (how to nvidia xyz on debian 13)
and the guide need at bit of adaptation for newer kernel probably , it is written in french site, but it can function.
if it worth it, another topic ; but wanted to find out, and glad it has been shown how to do it.

Detected NVIDIA GPUs:

Checking card: NVIDIA Corporation GK208B [GeForce GT 710] (rev a1)
Your card is only supported by the Tesla 470 drivers series, which is only available up to bookworm.

I tried installing the NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-470.256.02.run installer from Nvidia.

Yes, since it's a Kepler card the newest driver you can use is 470.256.02 but that driver isn't compatible with the kernel of Devuan 6, at least not without modifications.
But you could try this:

I haven't tried that so proceed with caution at your own risk. Maybe let us know if it works or not.
