excalibur does not wake up from sleep after suspend

after recently upgrading from Daedalus to excalibur, I noticed my pc doesn't wake up from sleep anymore.

I set  'system sleep mode' to 'suspend' after 60mins in 'Power Manager' setting, it went to sleep as instructed, but when i pressed power button to wake it up, the LED turns solid from flashing mode, but the computer screen remains blank, I had to power cycle afterwards.

It worked in 'Daedalus' flawlessly.

have you tried installing the latest system drivers?
i reember found it difficult to find the proper driver packages for one NUC i bought 11th gen one time ] there should be one file that has them all, maybe you need a BIOS update;
uneducated guess, sorry.

ah, you got a ASUS NUC, that made it possibly more asiy to find the system driver. if anything, thats my guess.
