Hello ,
attempted to install this image here for Pine A64+
https://devuan.bio.lmu.de/devuan/dists/ … rd-images/
after installing the error message :
No boot loader installedNo boot loader has been installed, either because you chose not to or because your specific architetcure doesn't support a boot loader yet.
You will need to boot manually with the /vmlinuz kernel on partittion /dev/mmcblk0p3 and root=/dev/mmcblk0p5 passed as a kernel argument.
could someone please tell what the correct course of action in such a case would be?
do i need to manually install grub?
thank you.

hi,
Pine A64+: Neither UEFI nor BIOS but devicetree based?
Have a try to install pine official boot loaders.(U-boot?)
U-boot accepts grub as payload?
ask/look at Pine doc or forum.
